Introduction of International Department
北京一零一中学是北京市教委批准的具有直接从境外招收外国国籍学生并进行学历教育资格的学校。现在已经开启2020-2021新学年招收外国国籍学生的招生工作。
Beijing 101 Middle School is a school with the qualification and reputation to directly recruit international students and offer academic education approved by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission. The recruitment of foreign students for the 2020-2021 school year has now begun.
学校国际部成立于2011年，目前开设中美双AP课程和国际英才培养项目，在读高中学生180余名。历年来，依托学校教育集团的鼎立支持，和由中外教师共同组建的优质教师队伍的倾力搭建下，国际部已经建成一座座受到国际名校青睐的毕业生金字塔。将每年的毕业季变成了万众瞩目的新焦点。
The Beijing 101 International Department was established in 2011. Currently, it offers Sino-US dual AP courses and international talent development programs, with over 180 senior high school students. Over the years, with the support of the school education group and the efforts of high-quality faculty formed by Chinese and foreign teachers, the International Department has built pyramids of graduates who have come to be favored by prestigious international schools. The annual graduation season has become an area of annual celebration within the department.

The school has been constantly exploring education internationalization in order to create a curriculum system that integrates international high-quality educational resources with China's own educational resources in the field of basic education. 培养方式
Cultivation Mode
为了给国际学生提供更加适合个性化发展的教育环境和课程，我们将入校后的国际学生分为以下教育方式：
In order to provide international students with an educational environment and courses suitable for personalized development, there are two education modes for international students admitted to the school:
一、直接插班学习模式
I. Direct Study Mode
具备汉语HSK四级水平，具有同等年级中英文学习必修课能力的学生，经考核后可以直接插入同年级普通高中班或国际班就读。
Students with HSK Level 4 and the ability to learn required courses in both Chinese and English in the same grade can be directly transferred to ordinary senior high school class or international classes of the same grade after examinations.
二、 汉语进阶+国际课程（插班）模式
II. Advanced Chinese + International Curriculum (Transfer) Mode
未能达到相当HSK四级要求的，经考核后进入汉语进阶班学习汉语言文学课程。英语能达到修课水准的，则直接插入国际班的国际课程（英语授课）。
Those who fail to meet the requirements of HSK Level 4 will join the advanced Chinese class to study Chinese language and literature after examinations. If their English level can reach the required level, they will be directly transferred to international classes (taught in English).
课程设置类别
Curriculum Setting
一、 汉语及国学课程：汉语口语、听力、精读、写作、中国文化（书法、剪纸、武术、京剧、服饰、民乐、饮食、茶艺、民族体育等）、中国文化社会实践。
I. Chinese and sinology courses: Chinese Language Learning (Listening, Intensive Reading, Writing, Speaking), Chinese Culture (Calligraphy, Paper Cutting, Martial Arts, Peking Opera, Costume, Folk Music, Diet, Tea Art, National Sports, etc.), Chinese Cultural and Social Practice.
二、中国普高课程：语文、数学、政治、英语、物理、化学、历史 、地理、生物、通用技术、体育与健康、艺术、其他选修课程。
II. Regular high school courses of in China: Chinese, Mathematics, Politics, English, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Biology, General Technology, Sports and Health, Arts, and other elective courses.
三、国际课程
III. International Courses
AP课程：微积分、统计学、物理、化学、生物、微观经济学、宏观经济学、计算机科学、计算机原理、环境科学、艺术史、英语语言等课程。
AP courses: Calculus、Statistics、Physics、Chemistry、Biology、Microeconomics、Macroeconomics、Computer Science A、Computer Science Principles、Environmental Science、Art History、 English Language and Composition.
IBDP课程：语言与文学研究、语言习得、个体与社会、科学、数学、艺术，TOK, CAS, EE。
IB courses: Studies in language and literature、Language acquisition、Individuals and societies、Sciences、Mathematics、The arts、TOK、CAS、EE.
四、实践活动课程
IV. Practical Activities
参加学校统一组织或国际部单独举办的社会考察、实践活动以及社区公益活动等。
Participate in the social investigation, practical activities and community service activities organized by the school or the International Department.
课程评价方式
Course Evaluation Method
按照学校规定，每学期、每学年对学生的学习情况、表现等给与综合评价。评价标准按照本校制定的高中学生评价标准执行。学生完成本校规定的高中学业，成绩合格，修满学分后，获得本校高中毕业证书。
According to the regulations of the school, record of students' academic performance shall be subject to comprehensive evaluation every semester, as well as at the end of every school year. The evaluation standard shall be the evaluation standard for senior high school students formulated by the school. Students who have completed the required courses and have passed the examination with sufficient credits will obtain their high school diploma.
收费标准
Charging Standard
一、学费: 100000元/学年
I. Tuition: 100,000 yuan/academic year
二、住宿费：10000元/学年（四人间）；18000元/学年（二人间）
II. Accommodation expenses: RMB10,000/ academic year (dormitory for four persons); RMB18,000/academic year (dormitory for two persons)
三、膳食费：学生使用充值卡自行餐厅消费
III. Meal charges: Students use prepaid cards for consumption at student canteens
四、其他费用：留学签证费、教材费、校服费（依据实际情况收取）、部分交流项目及课外实践项目费用。
IV. Other expenses: visa fees for studying abroad, teaching materials fees, uniforms fees (charged according to the actual situation), costs of some exchange programs and extracurricular practice programs.
食宿条件
Accommodation Conditions
学校配备三个宽敞明亮、生态化的学生餐厅，为学生提供自助式的中餐、西餐、清真餐等有机餐食。一座供休闲阅读的书屋，提供咖啡、奶茶等饮品和小点心。
The school is equipped with three spacious, bright, and ecological student canteens to provide students with self-service Chinese food, Western food, halal food, and other organic meals, as well as a library for leisure reading which provides coffee, milk, tea, and other drinks and snacks.
留学生公寓含标准双人间和四人间。内设空调、卫生间和洗漱间、光纤宽带网络以及衣柜及书桌等物品。并有专职生活教师24小时悉心照顾。
Apartments for international student include dormitories for groupings of either two or four students, equipped with air conditioning, toilet and bathroom, fiber optic broadband network, wardrobe, desk, and other items. There are also full-time life teachers available to take care of your daily living 24 hours per day.
招生条件
Conditions for Enrollment
招收初中毕业，身体健康，品行端正，学习优秀的16岁至18岁外籍学生（分为境外直接招收和在中国境内高中各年级的插班学生两类），在京监护人需在海淀区有房产或需提供海淀区租房合同。
Foreign students aged 16 to 18 who graduated from junior high school, exhibit good health condition, have a record of good conduct, and excel in academics (divided into two categories: overseas direct enrollment and students who are enrolled in classes at various grades of senior high school in China); Student’s guardian must either own property in Haidian District or have rented property in Haidian.

填报学生入学申请表，北京一零一中学国际学生申请表+International+Student+Application+Form，通过个人书面资料审查后，参加学校组织的面试、笔试（汉语、英语、数学）后录取。请将填写好的学生入学申请表发至邮箱 admissions@beijing101.com。
Fill in the application form for admission and, after passing the examination of personal written materials, take the interview and written examinations (Chinese, English, and Mathematics) organized by the school before admission.
